The Journey is
the Destination

your time, your pace

Unsupported bikepacking strips away the noise. No schedule. No support vehicle. No one else’s timeline but yours.

This is a journey for those who choose their own pace. Stop at the viewpoint. Sit with the shepherd. Eat when you’re hungry, sleep when you’re tired.

The route will still be there. Out here, the moments between kilometers matter more than the kilometers themselves.

Unsupported

YET Together

Unsupported means complete autonomy. You navigate, you find supplies, you decide where to sleep and how far to ride each day. You manage everything. And yes, this is hard. It’s also what makes the moment you reach a village pub and see three other riders at the bar feel like finding your crew.

The camaraderie on a steep climb at kilometer 380 is different when everyone got there on their own terms. You’re not in a supported tour. You’re part of a community of people who chose the same hard thing.

Enjoy

Slow Travel

We encourage you to reject the rush. Take the detour. Stop at that viewpoint. Chat with the locals. Out here, you move at a pace where you can actually pay attention to things. You’ll notice details — a church steeple appearing after a curve, the way the sun sinks behind the hill as you descend, the faint sheep bells echoing from a distant ridge, the rhythm of scythes cutting hay in a hillside meadow — not because we’re telling you to, but because slow travel makes you notice.

This is the opposite of tourism. You’re not ticking sights or chasing photos. You’re moving through a landscape at human speed, on your own terms.

At its heart, this event is built on a simple idea: Bikepacking is connection.

bikepacking is
connection

Connection with Nature

You'll feel the landscape before you understand it. The burn in your legs climbing a ridge reveals why these hills shaped centuries of shepherds. The cool air of an ancient forest, the smell of wood smoke from a village at dawn—these aren't scenery you pass. They're part of how you measure the ride.

Connection with Yourself

Out here, you're responsible for every decision. Which way to go. How fast to ride. When to stop. Whether to keep pushing or admit the day is done. Unsupported isn't a limitation—it's what makes this real. You'll learn something about yourself that a supported ride will never teach you.

Connection with Others

Out here, a nod at dawn means something. You'll pass other riders on steep climbs—people you've never met, may never meet again—but you'll know exactly what they're going through. You'll sleep in villages where shepherds still tend flocks by hand. A conversation with a stranger over coffee tastes different when you both know you've chosen to be here. This is where you discover that hospitality isn't a transaction. It's what happens when someone invites you to understand their world.
